Are dogs allowed in airports?

in the o'hare airport? well im not flying with my dog but im taking my friend to the airport for her to go on the plane and i can't leave my dog at home b/c then i have to go back home and take him to the groomers so if i take him to the airport then i can take him to groomer and its faster can he go inside with me and her but we dont go into the place where people wait for their planes

  1. The only dogs that are allowed in airports are seeing eye dogs and dogs that are in those travel cages to be shipped somewhere via aircraft.  If you took your dog with you to the airport you'd have to leave him/her in the vehicle.  You would not be allowed to bring the dog inside.


  2. Only service dogs (with the certificate) and dogs already in their kennel.  You'll have to leave your dog home or in the car.
