Are dogs allowed inside pets mart?

ok now stop laughing.. lol.. I really havent been to pets mart. I want to go but am scared of dogs. are dogs allowed at pets mart?

yeah they are but there on a leash so there no need to be scared and if an employee sees one that looks too aggrissive they will tell them to leave so yeah its safe

Yes, but the dogs have to be on a lead/leash.  Responsible dog owners will not bring aggressive dogs to the store (too much trouble fro them and the store will ask them the owner & dog to leave) and most dogs I've seen at the store are so busy sniffing the toys and food that it won't bother you.

Yes they are.  But they must remain on a leash.  So don't worry.  I'm kind of freaked out by dogs also.  But I don't worry about to much if they are on leashes.

Yup. People take them on a leash.

Normaly people with agressive/ mean dogs don't take them out in public. lol

The dogs at pet stores usually have all that dog food laying around on their mind. or the toys.

Public dogs are sweet if you pet them. But if their owner looks at you like your some kindof weird-o, its not a good idea to come up and pet their dog. xD

Hey don't worry. Most responsible owners who go to Petsmart are going to have their dog in control. Plus, if you DON'T act afraid around dogs- they won't bug you. The reason most dogs freak out when a person is afraid is because they become scared too. If you act like you're not interested in the dog, he probably won't be interested in you. AND if any dog there is misbehaving, the staff will ask the owner to leave.

Out of all the ones I've been too, yes. And cats, rabbits, hamsters, rats, etc, etc. As long as they are in a carrier, on a leash, or if a dog is small enough, in your hands.

If you want to go to Petsmart, go on a day where there is no obedience classes or any event going on. There usually won't be as many dogs there, then. And the dogs aren't just wandering around aimlessly, they are always next to their human, so you'll be fine. (:

And it's ok. I have a friend who is really afraid of dogs because when he was very little, a dog attacked him and ripped his leg to shreds on his way to school.

PetSmart might be a good way to combat your fear. Any dog there will be leashed and i doubt anyone would take an aggressive dog, so it would be a safe place to meet friendly dogs.

The petsmarts in west michigan right now, arent allowing animals in for a while, because of some puppy disease going around west michigan!!

Yes they are.  I take my dog there every weekend and he loves it.  As soon as we pull in the parking lot, he gets so excited.  My dog also loves meeting other dogs.  He has a blast.

Hehe, sorry yes they are it is really nice but you know their is no need to be scared of dogs they are SUPER sweet. Ive had three dogs. Right now I have a white miniature poodle. Trust me they are SO sweet. like when your crying or are mad or not feeling good or are lonely, they make it ALL better! You should get a poodle!

They are allowed.  You should have your dog on a leash so you can keep him/her under control.  It's a great way to socialize a dog. -!-

Yes all animals are aloud in PetSmart on a leash.  Goats, dogs, horses whatever.

yes and its a great place on weekends to see lots of other people and dogs. Its good for socializing and everyone I've ever met there was very nice.
