  4. It's a lose-lose situation, but fuel is better than running on empty.

They don't have much nutritional value, but it's better to have a donut than nothing at all because at least you are jump-starting your metabolism for the day.  As a rule of thumb, you should have a breakfast that consists of at least 250 calories...a donut probably has right around that many calories.

  10. Yes, they may not be the healthiest thing to eat, but at least you will have something in your stomache. Why not eating it with a glass of OJ or milk. As for a mid morning snack how about some almonds, a banana , an apple or cheese and crackers.That should hold you over until lunch time.

  11. I've actually read an article about this, and they said that it was better to go without. It's better to let your metabolism lag a bit until you can get a healthy lunch than it is to fill yourself with that much fat, sugar, and calories.
