  3. Doors are for both. We love open doors. WHen doors are shut for us, we resent that, and we even hate the ones responsible .

    I will now say a little prayer in thanksgiving for all the opened doors in my lifetime. God bless your for your kindness and thank you very much.

  8. The question is a false dilemma. Door are made to accomplish both tasks.

  9. closing of course- there was once a time when mankind had the respect for one another's personal space that doors were unnecessary...until we emerged from the caves and began to covet one another's property, then steal or kill and take over
