Are drinks a fad?

it seems like a lot of people are going a little to crazy for energy drinks, and starbucks.

is it because its a fad?

nope. well not for me! i use them to stay awake and stuff. sometimes i like crave for them lol

They are not a fad. It would have been over by now. Energy drinks started in Asia in the 60s and made it to Europe in the 80s and in North America in the 90s. They are here to stay.

Even so you are right that people are crazy for them. Another example of people using stuff in excess.

people at my school love energy drinks, and i will admit i submited to that fad.

i think is b/c people want a little energy with out drugs.

Yes!!! People here in the bay area go gaga over starbucks and rockstars... its kinda sick if you ask me... the coffee taste like mud and cost an arm three fingers and your first born child (like gas) and the energy drinks are a sugar rush followed by a crash and heart attack...

Energy drinks are a fad too.

People drink Starbucks and Energy drinks to act cool and post stupid question about them on Yahoo answers.
