Are drug tests given upon court dates?

I'm am going to go federal court in newark nj for a marijuana charge, and the cop said i would have to take a urine test upon my court date. will the test be given in the court house? is it sent to a lab or are the results instant?

Yes you need to quit tokin till after your court date. Look into your rights as the one being tested. You have the right to know the chain of custody regarding your urine specimen. You have the right to be provided the testing credentials of each person in the chain of custody and the credentials of the lab doing the test.
