Are drunken words REALLY sober thoughts?!?!?!?

People say that when they have a bit of alcohol in them it tends to i don't know tell there deepest secrets?

what was your best moment with someone telling you there drunken secrets?

and!

dose it still count when its drunk dialing?

Yes I think drunk dialing counts. And my best was when my best friend told me he wanted to sleep with me. But the day after when he tried to deny (poorly) was horrible.

People can tell their deepest secrets when drunk. They can also say the most random stuff, thoughts that occur to them at the time - even if they don't mean it or don't think like that normally, so I wouldn't rely on it. Someone tells you they fancy you when they are drunk they may, in their horrifically inept drunken way, being trying to make you feel better because they think you're feeling sad. Drunk people will also declare deep friendship and affinity for friends they barely ever see or have just met. My friend confessed he loved our taxi driver once, and had to be forcibly restrained from rubbing the taxi driver's head.

So, people will say anything when drunk, they are not noticably more honest, if it's important, see if they say it again when sober - otherwise don't rely on it.

Alcohol decreases your inhibitions therefore if you had something to say, or felt a certain way about something but you normally would not reveal that to anyone and you get drunk you are more likely to say those things because you are not inhibited.

I say it depends on the person.

I know that even when I am completely drunk, I still manage to find some form of a filter.  I do however probably say more than I should, but yet somehow never completely what I feel.

I have had a guy who acts so unattached to me sober, but while we are drinking will tend to be much more "amicable" towards me.  I am inclined to believe that his drunken behavior is the release of his sober inhibitions.  

I dont take him too serious either way.  I would prefer to have his sober thoughts anyday.

I think drunk dialing absolutely counts too!!!  Unfortunately I have had my fair share of episodes which I would have not otherwise had if I hadnt drank myself into oblivion!!

Oh boy..I have had many things that I have told people when I was drunk, especially guys I have liked over the years.

One time I told this guy I knew for over a year one of my biggest secrets, it had to do with a court case, as to why I won't write it on here, but I had always wanted to tell him and finally I did while I was drunk.

Same goes for drunk dialing, I remember one time I wanted to talk to my ex, and I wouldn't do it while sober, but the minute I was intoxicated I called him up and told him everything I had to tell him.

Sometimes it isn't good, but hey it works out at times as well :)
