Are dune buggies dangerous

im not going to go to fast probaly 70kmph and not gigantic dunes and jumping them im gunna take the pines (dirt tails) its a 110cc if that helps plus its not much of a dune buggy but more of a two seater gokart with rollover cage and quite big chunky wheels plus im not to much of a mental head (im 15 by the way)

  1. You never mentioned rather or not it had seat belts. If it does, it makes it more safe then an ATV. besides that, the roll-cage will protect you better if you end up rolling it as long as you have seat belts. A 3 or 5 point harness is the best though. As with anything, there is always risk. Just don't drive like a 15 year old and you will be fine. Be responsible and no crazy stuff.  


  2. Yes there dangerous wear protective covering & a helmet> You can get roll bar covers to protect yourself from hitting them during movement> Best fine out what age >State laws are for riding them even offroad>

  3. Yes, it is dangerous if you're not careful. Anything moving that fast is. Make sure you don't go faster than you can definitely control or try anything too adventurous. As long as you stay within your limits it should be safe. Take it easy at first until you're used to it.
