Are egg beaters vegan?

If not, is there a vegan option to replace eggs?

No, egg beaters are not vegan.  Egg beaters are made out of egg whites and yellow food coloring.  

A replacement?  Depends on what you're making.  Applesauce as a baking substitute will sometimes work.  Tofu is a wonderful substitute for scrambled eggs.

No, they are made from real egg whites.   I know of no vegan direct substitute for eggs, but you will find recipes that use silken tofu and other products instead of eggs.  It really depends on what you are cooking.
