Are eggs considered round?

Me and my friend had a debate, he thinks that because Eggs aren't a perfect Sphere that that means they aren't round. Who's right?

In my definition round means no sharp edges so I say eggs are round, just not spherical.

Eggs are ovular, in fact the root of the word, ovu, means egg shaped so no they are not a perfect sphere.
