Are electric violins easier to learn with than conventional violins?

I really want to learn how to play the violin, but as a complete beginner, i have no clue about them. So i was wondering which type wouold be easier to start with. Does anyone have any advice about starting or about learning in general?

Buy a decent instrument and find  good private teacher.

hello i have been playing violin for about 6 months. i think u should learn on a regular violin because they wouldnt be as loud and they are more common and dnt need expensive amps etc. .

starting learning is easy learn the parts of the violin and the different  notes using the internet or books. although the violin isnt the easiest instrument to learn its fun and rewarding
