Are endangered species being put in zoos?

what's being done to protect endangered species?

Some are. Many zoos attempt to breed endangered species to keep some remnant of their gene pool alive. It's sad, however. Species like the Siberian tiger can not be effectively reintroduced into the wild. Once they've been wiped out of their natural habitat, zoos will be the only place these great cats will exist.

they are being put together to make more offspring so they can release them into the wild

Yes I just seen a sign at my zoo the other day, and it was an endangered animal.

Some endangered animals are being put in zoos so they can reproduce in a safe place. They do this so they can repopulate the species that is going bye-bye because of humans.
