Al Gore has created a global warming buzz around the world and he sells "carbon credits", so he is profiting from this "crisis".  I believe that makes him less credible as a spokesman.

Some environmentalists do, yes you may say.Some of them would even spend thousands of dollars just to get their houses fitted with those fancy solar panels.
