Are factory refurbished subwoofers any good?

i was thinking about buying a kicker L7 subwoofer from "HiFi sound connection", its a authorized dealer of kicker so it comes with a warranty from kicker but not so sure about about factory refurbished

  1. If a sub has been refurbished, it just means that someone cooked it and they reconed it. All of the moving parts will be new. Those are the parts that matter. The basket and the motor structure will be from the original. A factory refurb is really nothing to worry about. It has to meet the same quality control standards as a new sub.

  3. refurb just says the the woofer has been  damaged and fixed just like a car is wrecked and you try to sale and dont get as much do to value goes down i would just rather get new even with a warranty still wouldnt buy i just wouldnt feel comfortable banging them but his is up to you just do you research and double check the warrenty on what all is covered
