  1. Probably depends on the family. If you're already struggling and have to pay for high gas, definitely not!

  2. having more financial pressures put on families,, do not make closeness, it causes depression, family breakdowns and even leads to suicides . Money is a major cause of family problems in todays society as to much emphasise is put on material wealth.......

  3. Gosh, if they get any closer we'll have a population explosion! Does that mean no separate beds? nope but cars have back seats!

  4. I doubt it.

  5. its the case in my family...recently, we'd rather be at home than go somewhere wasting our precious money. coz the high gas prices is not our only problem...everything else is getting expensive, its ridiculous.

i'm wondering when the Air Cars will coming out, i'm definitely getting one.

  6. Yeah, if you can't go anywhere people will stay indoors and talks to their family members.

  7. Yes. no one has money for gas so people are staying home with there family's.

  8. It's like the original Hanukka all over again!  We were able to run the cars headlights for the longest time while playing night basketball the other day.

  9. That's a pretty general question...I see my extended family less because I don't want to spend the gas money to drive to visit them.

  10. Certainly not my family.

  11. In some cases yes, but in most cases no.

Because of rising gas prices most families can't do a yearly or monthly road trip anymore. This means it's harder to visit relatives who live farther away since it costs almost a $100 just to fill up your tank. Also it's harder for people to go out more since gas is so much that they're almost forced to be inside. This could lead to other family members getting sick of each other which leads to fights and arguements.

But it could bring families closer because it's harder for other members of the family to do other things. Some families might just go to wal-mart and pick up some board games and dvd's since instead of going to disney you have to stay in. In some degrees it could lead to closeness but probably not.

So to some up my answer, I really doubt rising gas prices can bring a family closer.

  12. not my family

  13. no.

  14. no!!!! Its tearing families apart instead because of the financial problem many Americans are facing due to the FAS prices
