Are figs a healthy, natural and good treat for rabbits?

I'm eating a fig and i was wondering if my rabbit would enjoy one too!

  1. sure. i let my rabbit eat the grass in our backyard. it was very hard to catch him after wards but i figured he liked to run around freely.


  2. Yes, in moderation it's OK for rabbits, but it can create bladder sludge. If this happens then take it away immediately.

    "Some rabbits don't excrete calcium efficiently and can develop a condition known as bladder sludge where the calcium if not excreted and the bladder fills with the calcium sludge." Figs are one of the foods that should be avoided if your rabbit has this problem.
