Are fitchburg and leominster mass ghettos

Question

have any of u ever gone to leominster or fitchburg mass, do those cities qualify as "ghetto"

They were once booming industrial mill towns that have fallen upon hard times.  Very poor.

I would not call them ghetto's though.  Ghetto makes me think of intense hardcore crime, and gangs.  This is  not the case in these two towns.

Nor do they have the ethnic enclaves associated with the term Ghetto.

i live in worcester but work in fitchburg...can you say Crack town?!..used to be an old mill town like the other person said and it was a lot of Canadian French and Finnish people who immigrated there...now it has different people immigrating there now and it is a poor crack haven gang town....there are a lot of nice people there though and like the other person said...there are a few nice sections but not much...Leominster however is next door and not at all like Fitchburg....just like any other good sized town...more $$ iand no real ghettos there....

fitchburg is an absolute dump but leominster isn't too bad. There are decent parts of both you just have to know where to go.
