Are flamin' hot cheetos vegetarian?

I haven't eaten them since I became a vegetarian (almost 8 months now) and they're my all-time favorite chip. Does anyone know if they're suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians?

  1. NO!!!

Before I turned vegan, I was in love with those Cheetos, until my sister pulled up a forum on Peta2 saying that they were not vegan! And to make things worse, I had a bag of them in my hand when she told me. They use something from a cow, I think it was rennet or cow fat or something.

But they are not good for vegetarians. However, the other Cheetos are.

  2. I believe that the hot Cheetos has beef flavoring added to them.

You can always check their site. They might have more info.

  3. they should be i mean they are not fried they are actually baked so you really dont have to worry my friend is a ( vegi ) and she eats them just check the ingredients  carfeully in everything you eat/buy  but my advice

  4. Well, they're not meat so they must be.

  5. Find out what kind of oil they're fried in. This is the biggest factor.
