Are flats still in this year?

im asking because i haven't been able to find any cute flats.all the ones ive seen are ugly. can someone help me out. links would be appreciated

i am not sure if they are actually "in" like they were in i think about last year or more previous. what i think are in now are like boots and like high heels and gladiators. but i still see a lot of people wearing flats so i am not sure if they are "in" but i think they are like shoes... u kno what i mean??

sandals are really in right now.flats are cute but i think sandals would be better.
