  1. I guess this could be either a good thing or a bad thing but Yes, they are. Younger children aspiring to be AFL stars look up to these players to see hoe to play and behave on the field and sometimes off the field. These players have a right to a private life just like anyone but off-field indiscretions are giving young children the wrong idea. What I'm saying is, have fun but dont go over board!

  2. Any person that is in the public eye and seen to be a hero by young children should set an example. OK they have to live their lives but they should try not to make public any indiscretions.

  3. Yes, it is part of the job.  Whether they are or not is another question.

  4. Heck knows. They're just like regular peope, so I think looking up to them in all apsects of life would be beyond ridiculous.

  5. I hope not! Although some have done charity work. Most of these guy I would not want to expose them around anywhere.

  6. Not in my world but apparently for everyone else. I could not think of a worse person to choose as one who has never had a job, has been worshiped since a teenager, is filthy rich, heaps of spare time and has a group of people dedicated to covering up their mistakes so the world can be convinced that the sun shines out of their ar$e. I can't believe people seriously expect pro athletes to have better character than certain other types which better fit as a role model.

Character doesn't come from being skillful with an oval ball.
