Are free thinkers really free thinkers....?

If every idea comes from something else. Those ideas are already apparent of society does that still make people free thinkers or conformists?

  1. idk... it just means that they are thinking about it and trying to find new ways to twist it to make it better (or worse, who knows...)


  2. You are right.  Congratulations on coming to your own conclusion about this, apparently.

    No one is a totally "free" thinker.  We are all driven by many ideas and biases, depending on where we live, were raise, how we were raised, the movies we have seen, alas the politicians we have heard and.....

    The idea that a person is a free thinker usually  means she has rejected certain religious or philosophical concepts and thinks differently now.

    This is like thinking we have free will.  There is no such thing as free will.  No will is free.  We merely have personal freedom of choice to an extent.
