  1. solitary. they mostly only come together in the breeding season, when they mate and the female lays her eggs.


  2. Depends of the species.

    Tree frogs for example are really solitary, while Pacman frogs are extremely territorial.

  3. During breeding season, each male sets up a territory and will defend it against other males. It's unusual territory in that it is not tied to a particular area. If you were to rotate all the frogs in a pond 90°, the males would defend the same suze and shape of territory in the new place.
