  1. yeah, its a good choice..

They love them..... Please avoid giving pellets as it is REALLY unhealthy... Many of my cichlids die because of pellets... Because it is the main cause of swimming bladder disorder.. PLEASE take note..

Other than that, its great! ALL THE BEST MY FRIEND!

  2. Absolutely fine. They should actually be good for your cichlids. =)

    Good luck!

  3. It depends on the type of cichlids. Most herbivores should not be eating foods that are that high in protein. They have different intestinal tracts than the carnivores and omnivores. If the fish you have are say, mbuna, DO NOT DO IT. I made that mistake and lost 4 fish because they developed malawi bloat. I would only use them for carnivorous and omnivorous cichlids.

  4. You can feed worms but not exclusively worms.  You should try to get them to eat some green flake food (which usually contains spirulina algae).

  5. Yes they are fine you can even feed them frozen been doing it for years and ive got hundreds of cichlids and also another great food for cichlids is cooked peas without the skin .... they love them
