Are g*y and abortion issues just a smokesceen to hide how bad both parties have screwed up this country?

I mean both parties love to hype the supposed divide. But with the pill, s*x education, and other methods abortion should be at a low.. and the GLBT community has been out in the open for some time.. Hollywood has done everything to make it mainstream..

Do you think its just a smokescreen to keep off the major issues facing our Republic?

Every thing politicians do is a smokescreen until they can determine which way the wind is blowing with the voters. These are not people of principle; these are people who will prostitute themselves for a few votes.

But you are correct in your assumption. They do not want to face the real issues such as illegal immigration, energy, the economy, etc. the very issues they are suppose to deal with, the reason we put them in office.

It is easy to blame the Government for everything, but this nation is made up of individuals that must take the real blame. It is our fault and we as a nation do not want to accept the responsibility or blame for anything.We let the fruit out of the basket, we overlook the fact that our children have been given a pass on bad conduct, and we as adults do not always act as good parents.So how can we blame Government for giving us what we demand?They, the congressmen and senators, and judges all bow to our wants, so if you blame the government, start with we the people, because that is who our government is.
