Are gaynor mindens really broken in already when you buy them?

or do you have to brake them in a bit?

and how much would they cost at the shops?(not online please)

  1. they are not broken in, just soft in the right places so break in is easier and your foot can work to its full potential. in australia they are $200, on the pricey side but they last ages and are a beautiful shoe.

  3. They're not broken in. I think your referring to the fact that they have an unbreakable sole. This makes it seem like it's already broken in. They cost more than other brands, usually around $60 dollars in a store.

  4. no pointe shoe is broken in when you buy it at the store. some pointe shoes are softer the others (freeds) and are easier to just put on but then they usually wear out faster. breaking in a shoe means adapting it to your foot. no shoe will fit your foot absolutlely perfectly, and depending on what ballet your doing you might need harder or softer shoes. you have to keep trying shoes until you find a match.
