Are german news agencies worthy to be trusted?

recently I read something about a lady named Zhang Danhong being fired from a german news network, because she said stuff that are positive about China...

the explanation that network gave to the public was not because the lady lied or provided false information, but she "did not follow the morals of freedom and liberty" the network values.

i would think the germans are doing a better job than China on controling people's voice.

If it was in Bild I can well believe it-Bild is a tabloid, and is one of the largest selling papers in Europe. It's the equivalent of the UK's The Sun or the USA's, say, New York Post-ie it's aimed at people of low intellect and poor reading skills.

Be wary of criticism of foreign newspapers & media-the USA's media is a laughing stock to the rest of the world, and is renowned for slavishly following government propaganda in a way that remebles the Soviet paper Pravda. Any American wishing to know what is REALLY happening outside the USA (as well as inside it) should get their news from the web.

To be precise, she said that the chinese communist party had done more for human rights than any other political power in the world, which is a very questionable opinion.

Also, she isn't fired but suspended.

Please try to research facts better before posting.
