In my mind YES!  I guess it is an induvidual decision.  I myself was very critical in the beginning.  I looked at the evidence and went from there.  I also believe that humans will justify what they believe (or don't)  It is a very tough Question, indeed. Do you believe in Ghosts???

that is totally based on paoint of view. there have been "claims" that they have been photographed. but me personally i dont believe ghosts are real

For years I didn't believe in ghosts, then my parents died. Although they never 'manifested' (became visible), odd things happened that told me they were 'trying'. Not scary, just reassuring.

i think spirits are real but sometime when people say they "saw a ghost" it can also be there mind playin tricks on them. I know i let mind my do that to me too ::sometimes:: but it all depends on the person. some believe and some dont. or some say i wont believe till i see it and then when they do see it they come up with an answer of what it was or what it could have been because they are too scared to believe anything else

Such Christian scholars as St. Augustine, Duns Scotus, St. Thomas Aquinas, etc. say the dead remain in their graves until Judgemant Day. If you are an educated Christian, you say ghosts are not real. I am an athesit, and I also say ghosts are not real, because death is final. It is nice that Christians and atheists agree on one thing!

i believe in spirits maybe not actual ghosts..i think this goes along with the whole idea of god...if you believe in him than you will feel his presence...if you choose not to believe than you may be oblivious to what is happening around you

throughout the world, across cultures, civilisation and generations, there have been reports of ghosts/spirits. I think that is evidence enough that they exist.

obviously you cannot make them do a TV interview to prove that they actually exist.

there are a few rare species of animals that have only been captured on blurry film...most people have no trouble accepting that they exist

strangely people have difficulty accepting that ghost exists despite many photographs and first hand accounts

one reason is that people want to only see the world in the physical sense. anything beyond that has implications on how they approach life. just like most people cannot get themselves to think that they will die eventually

i personally don't think so..a lot of people have ghost stories but i think they are all fake..but like if you do believe in ghosts then don't judge me..i don't think people can rise from the dead and haunt people down or anything like that.

Ghost are basically spirits, that haven't transcend to the other side. Spirits have transcend. Yes, they are real, I may be at times a bit crazy, but I know I am not nuts....I have seen a lot of them...perhaps mostly spirits.

If you want a scientific answer and I'm not talking about plumbers pretending to search out ghosts but a real scientific explanation then in a way yes.

  Energy is eternal and in most instances in which ghosts are sighted, These have been incidences of extreme emotion or pain each expending tremendous energy. This energy creates an image,just as a photo collects an image on a negative. The energy , for want of a better word burns into it's immediate surroundings and when the exact circumstances, such as light, temperature, etc. are there, we see the image. So you see, ghosts do exist in a form, if the question is can they hurt you. then ask yourself can a picture hurt anyone? These are images like mirages in the desert and have no life nor the ability to hurt anyone.

I actually had to move out of my house because of one.  Not only did it freak me out but my 3 year old would not eat or sleep.  We actually had to move after only living there for 10 months.  I noticed it not long after we moved in but it didnt bother me that much, it wasnt my first encounter either.  Once it scared my daughter, that was enough (for the both of us).  I was a believer before then and am a firm believer now.
