Are giraffes friendly?

They are very wary of human encounters.  Nevertheless, they are not particularly mean either.

It would not be very "cosy" for you or the pet if you wanted a giraffe and you lived in a two bedroom apartment. Did you know that if you wanted a "giraffe" you could adopt one? Contact a zoo, many make adopting an animal easy and fun but it can be very expensive!

They are friendly enough if not provoked, but can turn on you and really hurt you, even kill you, if they feel threatened. Not if they are threatened, but if they feel threatened.  Beware their tongue.

Like any animal they are friendly but they can become aggressive when they feel there lives or the lives of there young are in danger. :)

Giraffes are insincere.  I thought that was a known fact.
