Are graves dug by a machine or by a person now?

Is there a grave digging machine that cemetaries use? If so, do you have a link to one? I'm really curious about advances in mortuary sciences.

In my neck of the woods they are all dug with a back hoe, They often do the detail work with a shovel at the end - squaring off the hole.

Both!!!  Each family and country/region is different.  Some people want to dig the grave without machines and some can't afford, nor do, otherwise.  There are places and circumstances that prevent any other way, but digging by hand!!!

Yes they use ditch diggers and back hoes to digg graves they are not dug by hand anymore
