Are guinea pigs boring???

Question

i'm getting 2 guinea pigs are they fun or are they boring? i heard they are fun to watch and handle. Is that true??

i Dont think they are boring I have had guinea pigs for seven years and they are sweet and funny. Its your opinion though but you can do lots of fun things with your guinea pig.

I had 2 guines pigs and they did not like being held at all.  One was a little more social than the other, but still not very social.  I had them about 6 months and tried to hold them a few min a day but it seemed they never really got  used to being held.  They would eat from my hand, but did not like being touched. I got sick of it and wanted a pet I could hold more and play with.  I gave them away  :(

I got them from Petmart...not sure if that means anything

yeah there not as cute as a rabbit but i sit them on my lap and watch friends all day with them there real friendly

i got one and they are loads of fun and rabbits are worse because the kick hard they bite and they scratch and my Guinea pig  loves people and is sweet, plus they are not boring!!!!

Guinea pigs are very social animals and enjoy the company of each other as well as humans. They are very friendly and usually get excited when they see you. They enjoy time out of their cage to get some excercise and they are alway very appreciative of yummy vegetables.

If you do get two guinea pigs, please make sure you adopt from a shelter or rescue. Most of the time pet stores sell sick or pregnant pigs, and often will tell you that you are getting two of the same s*x when you're really not.

If properly cared for, guinea pigs do not "stink." Usually in pet stores they have way too many guinea pigs in a small area that is not properly cleaned. This is why they "smell."  I recommend using a product like Sunseed's Fresh World Bedding or Carefresh instead of pine shavings. These products are made from recycled paper products and work great to control odors as well as absorb waste. With one guinea pig, you can change your cage about every 10 days. With two guinea pigs (especially if they are both males) you'll need to change your cage more often, about every 5-7 days.

i have 1 guinea pig and i've had him for about a year and a half now and well they aren't really that boring but after a while u kinda will get sick of them but their really cute and fun to hold and i'm really glad that i have one.

I think they are extremely boring. And they stink up the house, and wont stop having babies, it's sickening.

NO, they are not boring. My piggie is very entertaining and i wouldnt trade her in for nothing.

I would not recommend one.  They are stinky and not very social.  Most people end up getting rid of them after they have them for a little while.
