Are guinea pigs nocturnal?

I need to know this when ever I try to go to bed there always running around in there cage and it takes me awhile to fall asleep.

nope. my guinea pigs are diurnal.

Yes, our guinea pigs used to play at night.  We ended up moving their cage to the garage b/c they were so loud nobody could sleep.

Yes they are. And if people who answered no actually researched that they would know to. I've owned many guniea pigs and they are infact nocturnal, although they don't mind being up during the day to play. If they keep you up at night try moving them to another room to sleep.  Or try and tire them out. Good luck!

No they aren't nocturnal, but g****a pigs feel a lot safer when it's quiet.

they are diurnal..they take little naps but are wake day and night.
