Are guinea pigs the best pets ever?

I used to have 3 guinea pigs but now they are in my hometown and I am doing my school speech on Guinea Pigs so I want to know whether guinea pigs are the best pets ever..I will accept negative or positive answers. thanks a lot!

i think they are great, i have three boys and they all interact with me, and they come when they are called. they cant learn tricks but they love to be cuddled and played with, mine like to play hide and seek, and go mad skipping round and wheeking.

I love my guinea pigs!

They do interact with you, but you have to initiate that since they're not able to jump up on your lap!

They take a lot more work than some other pets, but I really enjoy seeing them happy.

If it weren't for the fact that I have to have hay in my house 24/7 and aggravate my allergies, I'd say they're the best pet ever... but given that my allergies to other animals would be almost as bad, they might as well be!

they are a nice pet if you cant have any other

mainly they don't really interact with you

they cant learn tricks , like dogs even cats and birds can do some tricks

but like i said if they are the only pet you can have they are better than none

yes. here are some pros for ur speech:

-they rarely bite people

-they do not have their own scent

-they are social

-they are lovable

-they can do simple tricks and accompish small tasks

-they do not need regular vet check ups (vet only needed when they are sick)

-they live a good 4-8 years, unlike hamsters which usually live for about 2 years
