  1. Yes, only hand guns.

    If you get a permission to authority's, you can get hunting guns.

    On the condition that you don't have any criminal records before.

    The test is incredibly stern.

  3. Yes and no. The only guns people might have would be used for hunting or target practice. But few Japanese have one in the home. Only about 40 people are killed by guns a year in Japan. Compared to 11,000+ in the US.

    About the only people who have guns are criminals.

  6. Hunting rifle, Hunting air rifle and Hunting shotgun  are only  allowed to hold for licensed citizen if it is registered legally in Japan. You have to pass official license exam to have those guns too.

    but you can purchase them at the black market. just don't let cops caught you red handed.
