Are gypsys part of the Islamic religion?

I ask because the consensus seems to be hatred--which is what is felt toward our lovely ,honest Muslim brothers and sisters.

No there is no connection. A lot of them are actually Irish, so would be Catholic if anything.

Travellers are disliked because they live off our taxes and do not contribute to the community.

Gypsies are on the whole members of the Christian faith and many are described as devout Catholics.

The confusion comes in the word gypsy, which was originally an English slang word meaning egyptian.

Many Romany traditions resemble Hinduism more than anything else. At least they did, but I suspect that's dying out.

I don't think the 'gypsy' culture has a main religion that they believe in....I know that Romany gypsy's believe is mystical powers etc which wouldn't necessarilly tie in with Islam.

Yes, all those bombings, hijackings, flying planes into buildings,  beheading of innocent people (Nick Berg, Eugene Armstrong, etc, etc), were just all accidents. Of course.

As for the gypsies, they are disliked due to their reputation as well. But, I don't believe they've ever committed acts of terrorism. So, they are not muslims.

Gypsy's don't have religion. They believe in Gobbledegoop and reading palms.

Roma Gypsy's might look a bit Islamic because of their head scarves but they are not. They are just pure pikey inbreeds.
