Are hair-straighteners allowed on board a plan in the cabin?

  1. Yes, they are allowed, but you can't use them on the plane.


  2. I don't think so, but you should check with the airline before you fly. Why on earth would you want to have your straighteners in the cabin anyway??

    hair oh and straightening it on an hour flight?

    sorry if no joke - get a life - stick them in suitcase

    if your not taking a case then the question makes sense and yes

    as long as u don't assault anyone with them

  4. I am assuming that you want them in your hand luggage as either you don't have hold luggage allowance or to keep weight of bag down (in response to other answers!)? Providing that they are mains powered and not gas canister straighteners they are allowed in your hand luggage.
