  1. I love mine. Instant heat!  And very economical, I find.  


  2. They use the same amount of electricity as any other type of electric heater. The clue is the wattage stated. 3000 watts is the same as a three bar electric fire. They are, however, nice heaters as there is plenty of radiant heat which is comforting.

  3. Halogen heaters are certainly a lot cheaper than fan heaters, convector heaters and oil radiators.
