Are halogen lights for cars legal in california?

I'm considering to buy Nokya brand purple halogen lights for my car, so just wondering if they are legal on the streets.

Halogens are now standard on all cars.

Better bet would be Sylvania XtraVision bulbs.  The colored coating they put on after market bulbs actually reduce the amount of light output.

Halogen lights have been legal for some time however you may want to check the vehicle codes because i read some place the replacing your bulbs with anything but bulbs similar to the ones from the factory at time of manufacture may be illegal. That's why buying Xenon bulbs for a regular halogen equipped car is against the law.
