Because my hamster does and she bites on the bars and uses her nose to get out of places so is it usual for her to get them?

Also do hamsters squeak?

  1. Hampsters do normally squeek but they normally do not get nose bleeds, you may want to check what temperature you are leaving the hampster in and if it is good for it (between 65-75 degrees F) then you may need to make sure that it is in a room with good humidity, get a vaporizor but don't point it directly at the cage, if the bleeding persists then take it to a vet. Good Luck hope he/she makes it.

  2. I guess it isn't impossible, it'll be the same principle as nosebleeds in humans - the pressure she uses to force her way out of places would be causing the bleeding, try and prevent it though as they're only little things and to much bleeding can't a good thing...And I'm sure they do squeak, I haven't had one for years but I vaguely remember mine squeaking ocasionally

  3. Any animal gets nose bleeds but just to be sure you should take him to the veterinarian!!! good luck!!!

  4. Biting on the bars can indicate boredom, she may need more stimulation (toys, etc) or a large cage!

Hamsters do squeak, sometimes to show fear, anger or pain, but sometimes they just squeak for the h**l of it!

My hamster doesn't stop talking :P

  5. AHH! your hamster is exactley like my old hamster! she died at 6 months old of wet tail or something. she had nose bleeds and a line on her nose bacause she bit at the bars WAY too much! you cant really do anything about it. it wont end at a disaster (i hope not). Yes. Hamsters do squeak, well not squeak they make hiccuppy noises. i dont know what that is but that happens to my hamster now. hope this helps...... nicole

  6. ummm its not normal, i think when ever ur hammie does that take her away from it    and they do squeak but when they r hurt
