  3. no, hamster are less social, less nice, they need to live alone, they smell worse, they are not as smart, they have shorter tails, they have a better chance of getting wet tail, they have different fur...while rats are more social, smart as dogs, eXtremly nice, they need to live in pairs or groups, they dont have a smell, they have really long tails, the fur is very straight, they have a better risk of getting tumors, and they live longer most of the time!

    yes, hamsters are RODENTS but as you can tell they are way not rats! ifyouwant a pet get a rat the tumors are easier to take care of than wet tail! they are so sweet too!

    males are more lazy and relaxed while females love to explore!

    They are both rodents. Which means they both have chisel-like front teeth which never stop growing. This means both of them can often be seen gnawing on things to file those teeth down.
