  1. Hamsters are nearsighted, and they would not be able to recognize it as another animal.  They don't particularly smell like animal either.  My friend's puppy came to visit and was being mopey, so I put my hhamster in his ball (I know this sounds cruel, but he was very safe and the ball was taped shut) to see if they'd play, or be at all interested in each other. The puppy didn't care, and my hamster just kept rolling around in his ball like the only problem in the room was that a.) he wasn't asleep, and b.) there was something else to bump into.

  2. yes they can be. they don't recognize it so they will fear it. let them ease up to it at their own pace. they will realize not to fear it.

  15. nope

  16. only if the stuff animal said BOO!

  17. Hamsters are very near sighted, meaning they cant see very far, so i don't think  they would even see one near it. however, if the stuffed animal had the scent of  another animal on it, such as a dog, it would be scared, because they have a very  good sense of smell.

  18. umm no!
