the wheels are already in the shoes when you buy them.  my kids begged me for them but i personally don't think that they are safe.

No they aren't dangerous unless you don't know how to ride them. There isn't a place where you can just get the wheels. You have to purchase the thing if you want wheels.

They are dangerous if you don't ride them the proper way... but don't make that loose you from riding them!  The key is to practice practice practice and wear some protection when practice like a helment and some sholder blades... but still don't forget to have fun... after you get a hang of it you can ride as you wish... and even learn so fun trips!!! They can be very dangerous, one time i was with my friend when we were 8. And she begged her mom to get her those shoes. We went o nthe playground on the wooden bridge. SHe popped out the wheels so she would skate, and then they wouldnt go back in when she wanted to stop, and fell face first off the play set.
