Are herbal remedies a cure for fibroids?

I have just found out that i have fibroids and I am totally averse having them removed surgically, therefore i will be using herbal remedies that i have gained some knowledge and positive reviews about. Your thoughts......

if you are talking about uterine fibroids you have other choices besides surgery, I had them myself and opted for a hysterectomy since I had already had my tubes tied anyway.

Yarrow is the first herb that comes to mind. It can be taken internally and used as a sitz bath for the treatment of uterine fibroids. Trillium may also be used for fibroids with bright red blood or Shepards Purse with a darker, heavy menstrual flow particularly if there are blue swollen veins and problems with muscles such as cramping, twitching etc.

There may be more specific indications for other herbs but I can't tell over the net so I suggest you see a herbalist to get the best possible advice and good quality herbs.
