Are hermit crabs more active in pairs of 2???

Question

i just got a hermit crab yesterday and i was just wondering if i bought a 2nd one would it be more active??? like i saw little feet marks this morning but like i wanna see it move when im awake! and i thinks its s girl too since its shell is painted pink. so if i get a guy could they possibly make babys?

ohh and i named her latoya.....do you like her name?

i dont think having two hermit crabs would mind eachother

They can't have babies in captivity. they have babies only in the ocean. they lay eggs.Cute name.It could be more active with two. They like 3 a lot,so they will be very active with 3.Trust me. I have four hermit crabs.
