Question:

Are highly visible veins a bad sign?

I've been noticing the veins around my body are highly visible compared to that of other people. The veins in my wrist are in clear sight all the way until they get to the crook of my elbow, where they just fade out into my skin. I was just wondering if this is normal, or a sign of something like high blood pressure? And why do I carry the trait and other people I've compared to don't?

  1. its normal. its just your genetic makeup. some people have veins closer to the skin than others. also you can see them better the lighter your skin is. there is no correlation between visible veins and hypertension.

  2. I don't think its anything to worry about. I've had veins highly visible on my leg since I was a teenager. Looks is all that it affects.
