Are highschool girls more mature?

I just wanna know from someone with experience about how much more mature are highschool girls than middle school girls cause im going into grade nine and im not sure if its time for me to try man up (act mature) or not

im a girl and all i have to say is yes we are very mature more mature then guys because we girls start to mature at a very young age and guys dont !

oh it is...some of them are very immature, but many aren't. and they are NOT going to like immature freshman boys.

i graduate from high school already. no girls are not more mature, they are  beasts! they think theyre better than you and stuff. soem of them are even bullies. high schoolers acts like middle schoolers. therse no difference. act mature, dont act like a kid.. people might treat you with more respect.

Here's a guy's opinion. You should act more mature, in fact it seems like most of the girls at my school were acting more mature by eighth grade. But yeah high school girls are generally more mature than middle school girls.

Okay, biologically speaking, girls begin osseous maturation earlier than boys (they get taller earlier on).  With respect to maturity (in the non-skeletal sense), there is no scientific data to conclusively show that high school girls are necessarily more sophisticated than are girls in grade 9, regrettably.

I'm also going into 9th grade, and I'm guessing you want to attract a girl my age, so here are the basics of what we look for in a guy:

1. Be yourself; we like a guy who appears confident and comfortable in his own skin :)

2. Don't be afraid to open your heart up to a girl you like. I promise we won't think you're a wimp - in fact, our impression of you will be quite the opposite!

3. Lastly, I'm personally attracted solely to guys who have reached at least a decent level of emotional maturity (but that's 'cause I have mature tastes lol) and have turned down several potential boyfriends because I felt that they were far too immature to take something like a relationship seriously. So, don't act ridiculous or embarrasing, whatever you do.

Women mature faster than men...known fact

but some girls just dont mature as quickly as others...they are going to be mature young women and there will be immature little girls in high school

i take it you are a boy...if not i am sorry!

if you want to "man up" i would seriously do it because boys do not know when and how to be serious...

please by no means am i saying to let go of your "boyish charm" just know when is the appropriate time to be respectful and when you can joke around
