Are hockey goalies weird?

I want to resolve the myth, if hockey goalies are crazy/weird or not. I know that Patrick Roy is crazy and weird, but are all goalies weird? Do they all have twitches like Nikolai Khabibulin?

Lol Manny Legace always did taht thing with pushing his neck forward... I liked Legace so much I grew to do that myself lol... hockey goalies arent crazy/weird... there just awesome.

No, of course not. I guess used to they tended to be more so then now. Nowadays, there are still a few weird ones, but over all, I don't think they are weird.

I think they are just loners.  My wife and son have met Manny Legace several times, and she said he's a first class guy.  He even went out of his way to make sure my son got the picture they took together autographed.

Since when was there a myth about goalies being weird? You can't generalize all hockey goalies. So no, not ALL of them are weird, but i'm sure a handful are....

from my experience, yes they are.  i met tom barrasso and ken wregget, they  werent  all there, very nice guys but before a game very stand offish. basically every game falls on their shoulders and they are also extremely supersticious. if you were in a high stress situation like that dont you think you would be considered weird?

I'm wierd, and I've never met another goalie that wasn't. Is it normal to stand in front of a 90mph chunk of rubber and get disappointed if it doesn't hit you?
