overall i imported my horse from ireland. hes wonderful we show jump in higher divisions... i think they are good but probably just as good as any other horse... from anywhere else

Irish horses are great, but when it comes to getting a great race horse most professional jockeys ride Polish Arabian Horses..they are very agil and quick, have very strong legs and are muscular, they are also very easy to train and quite intelligent

there are most certainley some good ones however i believe the dutch the british and the spanish have some good ones as well,having lived in ireland for a few years i found the irish to have a general belief that they bred the best in the world quote [all irish horses are clever] ha ha ,not so or maybe so, i had the pleasure of spending lots of money and time of a half bred mare who would sit on its bum at the thought or suggestion of work clever?it got so crafty it would wait until your back was turned then sit like a camel ?so in answer to your question they certainley have charecter.

no, in lexington, KY they have got some good horses but probably expensive

yes.  Especially jumping and working horses.  Had a niece do some internship here, she said in Ireland, they dont feed the junk that the usa has here, dont get mad, but over there, if they dont jump, and are not from a good breed, they sell those nags, and yes, my parents are from Ireland.
