Are household cockroaches attracted to wood??

I am very concerned about my clothes, since i like storing them in wooden cabinets. Any tips on how to get rid of them would be nice too.

No, they are more attracted to food sources. You will find them more in your kitchen than in your closets. They may eat silk or wool since those are organic fibers but not likely. That's more a moth's job.

If you're really concerned line the containers with cedar, or put cedar sachets or inserts in them.

If you have an infestation, call an exterminator.
