  1. h**l yea

  2. Generally in Jamaica, Yes. The typical middle-income home in jamaica is anywhere from  US$110k (J$8Million) to about US$280k (J$20M).

Note that for the higher end houses, it starts to look very much like US house prices... you have mansions priced as high as  US$1 million and even US$3.5 million. Beyond those prices, you would basicaly being looking at medium sized hotels (literally) with historic value of some sort.

  3. ecke yea. You can live in a mansion in Jamaica and look like you are rich.

  4. yeah extremly lower,

  5. Desirable, American style housing, will cost almost as much in Mexico as it does in the U.S... if not more.  Some of the really desirable places to live are so expensive the Mexicans can't afford to live in them any longer.  I've seen  one bedroom, one bath condos in San Miguel de Allende START at $80,000 U.S.D.

The other thing about living in Mexico is, you need to be able to speak Spanish unless you stick to the big cities and even then you need to speak spanish.

  6. Yes it will be if you r using USD to purchase it. However i think it works out to be the same if you actually lived in Jamaica.  It is just as hard for a first time homeowner in Jamaica as it is in for those in the US.

  7. For Jamaica yes because the american dollar is stronger than the Jamaican dollar

  8. yes! but you have be millionaire to live the king dream
