  1. yup just look at the Olympics,,

  2. Not a chance.  Double-crested cormorants can swim circles around people, and so can weasels and ferrets.  I'm sure that both bull snakes and water moccasins can out-swim a man, at least for short distances, and badgers probably could too.

And incidentally, who's to say that our long flat feet and short toes weren't evolved, at least in part, to make us better swimmers.

  3. yup

    like the olympics

  4. No joke, apparently sloths are really fast swimmers.

  5. No.  An otter can swim circles around any human.  A beaver can out swim a human.

  6. No :)

  7. No, they aren't Sorry to whoever believes humans  are the fastest are wrong. Crocodiles, may be considered water animals, but i consider them land animals. Crocodiles can  swim for up to ten miles per hour for a long time. But, crocodiles can swim from fifteen  to twenty miles per hour in short bursts. Polar bears can swim from about four to ten miles per hour. Leopard seals can swim up to twenty miles per hour. I  consider seals land animals because they sleep on  land  and  usually interact on land too. They only really go into the water when they want to hunt, looking for a mate, or are looking for a new place to live. Emperor penguins  can swim at speeds of nine miles per hour.

Most of the animals I mentioned actually spend most of their time on land. Crocodiles are the only animals that were mentioned, who  have an equal amount of time in both land and water, but the other animals just swim in the water to find food, look for mates, or are trying to find new homes.
